784 power steering

after ghanging filter have no power steering everything else works and check all the lines please help thank you dave

Neighbor just had the same problem with a IH 454. I told him to check the breather. He took the cap off where you pour hydraulic oil in and started it up. Sure enough the steering started working. Since the vent is located under the seat, he's going to put the vent in the filler cap so it'll be easy to get to. You may have another problem but you can check this pretty quick .

Could be air-locked. Try working steering wheel back and forth a few times, and see if it clears.
