Thats a really neat photo Hal, he sends you some good ones !

Incidentally, how is your garden coming along so far? I could have planted earlier but plan to do so this weekend on the first patch, still have to moldboard plow the other one, which I did last fall not many weeds yet though, then fence and plant that one, deer have kept me out of it for years, though I have worked the soil since '09, sat for 10 years in sod, had been planted prior to since the late 70's, I can see both out the kitchen window, something I always enjoy more than most other things in life is growing a garden, probably about the same as you do LOL !

I plowed the garden in early March since we didn't have any snow and not much rain. I grow my tomato and peppers plants from seed. I started them in early March and they plants were getting big I planted them in the garden in April.
The temp was down to 34°F yesterday morning. I had covered a lot of plants, but none were hurt by the cold weather. There was heavy frost on the house roofs. I also planted some yellow bush string beans about 10 days ago and they're up. I planted one row of Blue Lake bush beans on Wednesday. It was in in the 80's here today.
The grass is growing like crazy. I used my rear bagger and collected 6 big wheel barrow loads of grass. I'm going to mow every 4 or 5 days until it gets hotter and we don't have much rain. I mulched all the tomato and pepper plants with the grass clippings. I use to raise lima beans on poles and I would mulch them with grass. I had a hard time to get rid of vines once off the poles.
I used my 31" Toro Whirlwind mower and it made short work of those vines. I planted barley for a cover crop and it has disappeared since plowing and tilling it. Here's my tractor and plow. Hal
