Woods Belly Mower

I don't believe there is a specific part number for that application in that it can very an inch or few. There are web sites that carry belts, but as I recall, the lengths varied by a couple of inches between belts. When you get that long, they are pretty long and manufacturers aren't going to differ half or even single inches as I recall.

Your belt broke? Still have the old one? Last year mine broke on my L59 Woods under my AC-B. I took the broken belt to the Deere guy up the road, they measured it, had me a replacement in a few days through their belt supplier that was within a couple of inches that a simple adjustment cleaned up.

Good luck.

When I installed a Woods deck on my H that I bought used. I did not have a belt for size or numbers. Went To IH and they looked it up and had it in stock.

If it runs off the belt pulley drive like it does on A Farmall B, there's a 3/4 twist built into the belt. Jim

I've used a L306 under a little Allis for over 15 years and my biggest mistake was spending BIG $$$$$$ for a Woods belt once. Get out your drill and reposition one of the idler pulleys so the deck uses a standard length belt. In my case it happens to be a B240 and the cost difference is substantial.

(quoted from post at 19:57:00 05/13/13) I have a model 59 woods belly mower mounted on a SC IHC. I need the parts number for the belt or the length of the belt.
Thank you.

If it is the original belt, there is a number on it. Probably stamped in. It is hard to see, but it is there. A good, very bright light will help.

I 've used this for a long time.Has'nt failed me yet.

We measured our old one before it failed! I took a 50 foot tape and tied it to the belt and had my wife keep tension on it. I rotated the drive slowly by hand until the belt was all the way around, it wasn't easy, but it worked. I then went online to find the size. I think it measured 226 1/2, so that was a B225. We ordered a Goodyear US made off Amazon for about $50 and it works great. My years in industrial maintenance pay off, I have my spare parts ready before I need them. Woods has an excellent website where you can download an owners manual with very good diagrams for the belt run. Our belt was on slightly wrong when we bought the tractor, a Farmall C.

I want to thank everyone for their advice. The belt number is 3652 and length is 226 1/2 inches. There is a difference if it is driven by the pto or the belt pulley above and to the right of the pto. Mine is driven by the belt pulley above the pto.
