OT at the library too!

They have an open mike seesion at the library, anyone can come play music,do poetry etc,It is real nice,and a lot of talented kids attend,along with some old geesers like me,Some guy came to the last one,stood up to the mike and did a comedy act that was in very poor taste,It might have flown at a club,but it was bad for kids to hear,Now it might have ruined the whole open mike setup. It only takes one thoughtless individual to ruin something good.Why is that?
 
Larry, some people just don't use their brain...what might be funny for adults, not for kids..time and place for everything!
 
We have that sort of problem on these pages sometimes! We call it foot and mouth disease.....they open their mouth and put their foot in it!

Larry, dident you go to opening day at Monmouth Park today??? lol,,,It's been rebuilt from the damage of sandy last fall! $5.7 million in repairs they said! 9 barns were lost, and the track server as a tempory home to 2000 displaced people and the parking lot home for 1000 utility trucks, pretty amazing I thought.
 
I have never been there,if you do go,stop on the way and see us,,,anytime,,,you are welcome You can take a goat home with you for your daughter to keep as a pet if you want! lol
 
Seems like there would have been someone in charge, who could have turned off the mic and ushered the guy out the door.
