I did about that much with an H one time - guy delivering it thought I was crazy. Ground was dry, flat and the spreader was well balanced for weight. Spread it with no problem. Mud and hills would have been a different story.

On heavy untilled ground it should not be that bad a job for a M. As long as there is no loose sand and 18 percent slopes.
