Chicken House???

Here is a picture of an out building on our farm that we call the chicken house. I do not know what it was originally used for since it has been a storage building since the mid 1960's. The building is completely open on the inside except for support posts. Was this a chicken house or some thing else? How might it have been set up inside?

what does every think?

thanks

Probably was a broiler house- just open inside, with propane heating overhead, and feeders and waterers that lowered from the ceiling. The pulled everything up to the ceiling for catching chickens, and for cleaning the place out between broods.

The "standard" size broiler house around here is 100' X 456'.

It looks like a building my parents have. Their place was a chicken farm many years ago. Inside you can still see some chicken wire over what used to be windows I believe.
