I was out blading the washed out rock in my driveway trying to get it back where it belonged. On my last trip out, I decided to shut it off and get the mail. It made a funny sound when I shut it down. When I got back and started it, the engine went to wide open throttle and the control lever was in the idle position. I suspect my governor has come apart inside. I nursed into the shed by shutting it off and on with the ignition switch. My question is does the governor just pull out toward the carb?? I don't have a service manual on it.
