I was asked do you want this leftover piece of bluestone? I said yes,but didnt know why,when I got home I rolled the thing off the back of the pickup,and put it next to the mailbox,I would like to get my daughter to paint our house no on it. Beilieve me,it is heavy!,,but it is a really nice piece of bluestone,and i couldnt see it get thrown out

Looks like a tombstone gives me the willys but once you put the house numbers on it will look good.

With some of the softer sandstone and limestone you can use a carbide tipped router bit on it and just route it like wood.

Got a sand blaster or pressure washer? Etch in the numbers yourself. You might not be happy with the longevity of paint on the stone because moisture gets in behind the paint and lifts it.

Would have used it as a surface plate in a machine shop.Very expensive.Snow plows will get it here.Fellow bought a large lot of new cartridge brass at auction, intended to sell it for scrap.He could have gotten 10X selling to reloaders now.

I did the curb around 1987, dug the footing with a pick and shovel,mixed the concrete myself too,I was a lot younger then! lol
