You know? There is a 400 with a wf settin in a field not real far from me that I pass on weekends. Looks like can be fixed up. Been there a few years. I've been meaning to stop in and ask about it. I sure do hate seeing it rot and rust. Thanks for the reminder.

Are you sure that disc isn't overloading the tractor? Maybe you should drop a few wheel weights and let the tires slip a little.

Just kidding, I do about the same with an M and small disc. The only difference is I have the disc itself loaded down to make it cut better.

I always though my neighbors looked kind of silly raking and tedding with an 856, but it probably didn't use much more fuel than a smaller tractor would have.
