Lazy day after all!!

Well I started out to have a busy day but after checking the ground it is just too wet under neath for any finish work. I am not going to mud in grass that I will have to live with for many years. So ended up just being generally lazy all day.

The youngest son did change out his electric fuel pump in his 1999 Chev 2500. The pump was getting noisy. This is the truck with the 6.0 motor that has been a fuel hog from day one. No one could find anything wrong with it. The fuel pressure was checked several times and always checked fine. It must not have been working correctly while driving. Since he changed the fuel pump his mileage has jumped this first trip. The truck is running smoother too. He got 14.5 mpg on a 100 mile trip this afternoon. He was getting 11-12 mpg before at the best. Hopefully that was the trouble.

Hope to find my ambition tomorrow. LOL Did run the younger grand sons around the yard this afternoon. They can really wear a fellow out. The grand daughters where horse riding all afternoon. They took a long ride around the neighborhood. My German Shepard dog ran the whole way with them. He is Beat. LOL he was sleeping in the drive way and you had to drive around him he would not move. I just ran the girls to town for an ice cream cone and he would just wag his tail an not move. I had to go in the yard to get by him. When I got home I called him up to the house and he finally slowly got up an walked up. He is just 1 1/2 years old but he sure is acting like he is ninety tonight.

Hope you all have a good week.

Kinda know how you feel. I spent the whole weekend fighting off some kind of alimentary canal bug. Tossed my cookies for the first time in 25 years (I remember how long because I went out and got totalled when the judge said I was finally free of the ex-) on Sat morning and spent the rest of the weekend with a serious case of the galloping trots. Today it's raining, so all I have to do is run down the road six miles and pick up my Nutrient Management Plan at the extension office and check on the cows. Rough day.
