In need of a good parts finder

It took me forever to find two belts for my 68 toro professional 70". I'm trying to figure out how much new bed knives would be but I can't find any anywhere. Also the reels to. Even if its something that would interchange.

Give Henthorn mower in Indianapolis a call and ask for Rickie. She is very knowledgable. They have been a Toro dealer forever. 317-634-5678. They are open on Sundays until early afternoon. Tell her John Fritz recommended them.
 
If she is not there just ask for the parts department. They have parts that date back many years. I have been trading with them 25 years.
 
Toro is set up kinda strange on parts . There are separate divisions depending what you have . Home owner , commercial and golf course . Or something to that effect . Place in Davenport Iowa has Golf course parts , can"t recall name right off hand ,I can find out later though .
 
Google R&R Products. They are an excellent
aftermarket parts manufacturer for mower parts and
many other things. They are often as much as 50%
cheaper than O.E.M. parts. Their quality control
is excellent. We use them for most of our golf
course parts needs for Toro,John Deere and several
other brands of turf equipment.
 
There are quite a few folks schlepping aftermarket
parts for commercial/turfgrass lawn mowers. With
the internet it should be fairly easy. I would
start with LESCO, if no luck get a hold of one of
the golf course trade magazines and look for the
ads, should be able to see the magazines online. I
don"t know when they switched from Toro Pro to the
Super Pro but he Super pro was being replaced by
the Turf Pro in the late 70"s early 80"s. We went
from a National triplex to the Turf Pro 84 so I
don"t know much about the Pro and Super Pros
