Trying to keep it to a reasonable number per post. Good show, not as good as years past, but they charged to be in the show this year, so that may have had something to do with it. Weather was a pleasant 85 with a slight breeze. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Enjoy!

Wow. And people think I'm crazy when I tell them about all the interesting stuff I see in California. Everything there... grows old gracefully... thanks for posting these...

That red Autocar loaded with hay made my heart go pity patter !! Thanks for the pix, Pat !

It ran so smooth. It sounded like a brand new machine. The guy and his daughter were doing the hay demo.

Thanks! I've been past Tulare on my way between Washington and San Diego. Always thought that stretch of Hwy 99 looked like a real interesting area. Probly never talk Mrs Fred into going to that show, tho.

wow. great pics, and a great show. i would have liked to have been there. my economy tractor and republic mixer would have fit right in. thanks for all the pics. wally

Thanks for posting the excellent pics! I can see why cab-over trucks did not become popular over your side....they are kinda....not too nice looking!

Patsdeere,

Great pics, looks like a good show.

I love the Mighty Mite and the wings on the closeup of its serial tag.

Also the Alamo gas engine - nice brass tag.

And the cultivator with the steel wheel. Too cool. I love RUST-ic stuff. : )

Loved the pictures, Thank you for posting. One question, what is the fat little tractor, seventh & eighth picture in the first set?

Thanks for the pictures. I was there last year and really enjoyed the show. Never have I seen so many crawler tractors at a show before. Also remember how hot it was last year and how good the ice cream tasted.

Wow. I can see how someone could spend more than a day out there and still not see everything. My guess is that art museums don't have that much art in them. And I picked up on something never noticed before. Caterpillar used to resemble a caterpillar. Thanks for sharing, and the lesson.

Yeah that is kind of what I thought. This was their first year trying that. Guess we'll see about next year.

Actually it is almost like sand, but packs very well and rarely is there wind, so dust isn't too bad. The areas of high movement - roads, walkways and parking lots get a regular wetting down. There are 2 water trucks that don't stop moving.

It is between Fresno and Bakersfield, but closer to Fresno (kind of central CA). Or about 3.5 hrs southeast of San Francisco.

Great photos! Those M, SMTA and 400's look like Tony from CA's tractors. Love all the LP, single front wheel, cotton picker, and sqaure alfalfa bales. Reminds me of home in southeast New Mexico. That show is enough reason for a road trip to CA.

THANK YOU ,"PATSDEERE", You did tremendous job with pics, captured tone of the show.

(quoted from post at 19:42:32 04/22/13) Yes I was there last year too and really enjoyed it, heat and all.
Ron ,Yes got up to 101 LAST Year .
However, this year was great at 85.
