Going down to 25 degrees in Iowa

With that kind of temp, do I have to cover up some tulips that are out of the ground about 2" ?

By the way, had to drain 7 month old gas out of a Farmall 350 before it would start today. Even had sea foam in the gas. Gas looked like varnish
and gas mixed. Guess I'll just run it dry next fall.

in nw alabama i already have onions, cabbage, peppers (12), egg plants (3) and tomatoes (41) in the ground. field peas, green beans and yellow squash coming up. wife has annual flowers out also. now the heart break, temperatures forecast to 38 degrees friday morning with a possible lite frost. difficult to cover that many plants.

picking sugar snap peas and summer squash here also putting out pepper and tomato transplants in the field the last few weeks here in north florida. only in the mid 80's here today. had to use frost covers couple weeks ago. winter to summer with few days of spring.

The same guy that planted in March last year by Sigourney. He planted 270 acres the 6th of April this year.

Been rainy and cold since.

This is my world today. Nothing has greened up, frost isn't totally out, blah.

Actually got much worse, pic was taken around noon. Schools all closed early and are delayed tomorrow morning. Roads are one step from being closed down. Wind is pretty strong. Looks like 5 inches of very wet snow out there.

Should get down into the teens on Saturday.

Our volleyball league starts this Tuesday. Ha! That will get postponed.....

Our tulips seem to pop up every year and then we get a bunch more cold weather and snow and they almost always bloom. So far this year the tulips next to the house are up about 4" and now its supposed to get down into the teens for the next couple nights and up to 17" of snow is predicted by saturday, so we shall see if then survive. haha.
