BIG RUH

left the house this morning about 8 AM. Rain had just started. Coming home about 10:30 Am, had to drive about 15 miles out of my way to find a road home that wasn't under water

Ya rained here pretty good last night and this morning. Found out I still have a couple leaks in the roof. Oh well such is life. Roads not all that bad but we only got around 1-1/2 inches or so but still trying to rain

Sure is easy to find the areas with clay. My two-track has about 8" of standing water in the low spots. Culvert under the drive couldn"t handle all the water; had backed-up water running over the drive. Supposed to get more tonight and maybe tomorrow.

Here's a picture of one of the many bridges and roads that are out near me.
News says Ionia county has so many roads closed that they have run out
of cones and barricades to mark them all. Drive carefully!
PS, no one was hurt in this one.

I didn't make it. It was 10 o'clock before I got in from doing chores. I was wet, tired and muddy and just wanted to sit down.

I've never been there that it wasn't cold and wet no matter what the weather had been leading up to it. The wind is usually blowing right off that pile of wet hog manure too.
