We finally wrapped up the maple sugar season, this afternoon. The uncle started plowing today and my cousin was out picking rock with the Case 1845 skidsteer and rock bucket.
ook the wifey for a ride in the Chebby wood getter this evening, through the back 60, and a portion of the sugar bush.
May flowers are in full bloom and we are now able to get on the ground to start spring planting. more tillage and planting pics to follow, as the weather progreses. At one spot I stopped and a little Downey Wood Pecker was beating heck out of a dead limb on a cherry tree Spent 15min., antagonizing him by reprocating his beats with my kuckles on the hood of the truck before he finally flew away.
Liffe is good,

I sure did enjoy looking at the pic. They was beautiful. My guess you have been cooking maple syrup. One thing difference was your trees did not have no leaves on them like mine down here in E. Tx. About all trees have budded out here.
What state are you in?

Would like to see more pic.

A few were up good this morning and a whole bunch just peaking out of the ground. Supposed to hit about 80 today so I expect to be getting a pretty good cut when I get home... :)

I'm afraid you won't like what we are sending your way. More cold and wet. Syrup came yesterday. Going to enjoy some at supper tonight. Thanks.
