Well guys it was working just fine but the last 3 times I tried to post a picture the verbiage and the monitor picture said I had the desired picture and it posted, but it didn't. Now what.

Thanks,
Mark

Check the size of your picture file. Try to reduce it and see if it will post.

You should see the photo url in the preview. This is with modern view. If your in classic view, sorry, I can't help there...........

If you can see the pic on your computer, right click on it and copy the its url. Then from that you can find it on your hard drive and delete it. But why would you want to do that? If you can locate it this way, you can use an image editor like photoshop (I don't use that one, but everyone knows it by name) to resize it, if that's what the problem is.........

Yesterday I thought I posted 7 pics. 6 posted perfectly, all from
the same camera, same computer with nothing changed. So I
attempted to post the 7th separately thinking I didn't do it right.
Didn't post then.

So today I'm trying to post again and to no avail.

I would think if I had too many flicks in storage it would be in
the site somewhere, not on my HD. I have a Mac and tons of
storage.

Worked from my Mac. Only problem I have had lately is having to signin all the time. I use Classic.

Nice pic. Did you take it? Some kind of Finch? What gets me is that I was loading pictures right and left and all of a sudden it said it uploaded them but didn't. Tried 3 times.

I'll move over there and see what happens.

Thanks,
Mark

Well I guess I was in Classic. I see the prompt in the upper right corner but I guess that's to move to Modern view. So I'll try that.

Well it didn't post now either. I'll wait till the Adm. Ms. sees my que and see what she has to say about it.

Thanks,
Mark

The bird is from web site but we had some of them show up here this winter. They usually winter further north along the Canadian border but these made it to the southern part of SD this winter. I have found that if I use to big of pictures that after a couple it will not take them. If I use the preview post option and then go back and try again it will take them. Smaller always works better though I have found. If you have Mac I use I-Photo and then click on the share option at the top, then export. I can then downsize them without changing the quality of the picture. I usually go with about the 500 setting.

Going to try it right now.

On the birds, we got a few pair of New England Blue birds around here about 3 years ago. First I saw, kicked it around and found out what they were. Looked them up and saw what their nesting preferences were and abided accordingly.

This year we have 4 pair and although they came through in January, they stopped in for the hens to pick out a house and tell the cocks what they expected out of them. Ha!

So, now they are back for the summer and soon nesting will begin. I think they are the most beautiful birds I have ever seen and there are a lot of beautiful birds out there. The combination of that gorgeous blue and the chestnut breast and gray underside really makes a nice combo.

Thanks,
Mark

Check your site address real close. Mine was using http://yesterdaystractors.com/ when it should have been http://www.yesterdaystractors.com Those three www made all the difference. Kim and Chris made some changes that should have fixed the program but you might try it and see.

i just checked the favorites on my desk top, my link is www.ytmag.com, its been that way for years and it also works to connect mr to this site.

We have a lot of Bluebirds that hang around year around. Sometimes as many as a dozen will show up at the feeder and then they disappear for a week at a time. We have a bright red Cardinal that has been here the last 2 weeks. Nice to see some color in the gloom of the ice storm. The Robins are even coming up to the feeder to eat which you very seldom see them do.
