Since the topic came up a few days ago and I got my cultivating done, all my stuff is fixed, can't plant yet and nothing to do, I happened onto a couple of sites you might enjoy brousing if you are interested in medium to small sized tractors and possibly Cummins engines. Mr. JD Seller did mention some interest in the subject, maybe others out there too.
The first site is a little history about Kukje mfgr. co. and identifies some of the tractors they mfgr. besides mine. The second has to do with Cummins who is quite a large company and very internationaly diversified, making more things than OTR truck engines.....even diesels for Mercruiser.
Obviously these are just two of many companies, but still it's something you might enjoy.

Thing about the tractors they make is that apparently they do like Murray lawn mower company and sit down with the customer and taking his specs build him a machine. So you can have a 3 hp push mower with a cast alum cylinder, splash oiling, and a fixed throttle, or a deluxe widget with all the whistles and bells...mud flaps, foxtail, ogga-ogga horn and a whip antenna. Ha!
Or in the case of engines, they build a diversified lineup for OEM mfgrs of equipment whereby they can select one to fit their needs. If a design needs a little tweaking to fit a particular customer's design... they apparently do that too. I guess that's how you grow a $13 Billion company from what one man started back during our industrial revolution.
