terrible teens!

My little girl just turned into a teenager today (13) I had to take the
family to the pictures tonight and sit through a complete 'Jack the
Giant Killer' movie! ,.....But then....she could have been more
demanding on her birthday!!!! Happy Birthday, Anna!

You are just getting to the fun years!!! Dating and hormones flying all over the place. I think my daughter was replaced by a demon for her teenage years. LOL She was normal after about 21 but it sure was like walking in a mine field from 13 to 21.

The boys and I used to joke about which one we would find when we went into the house at night. Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde. LMAO

Sam you have a beautiful Irish Lass there so be on the look out for guys like most of use where at that age.

The things I found in raising kids were:

Terrible in cloth diapers with one bathroom and 4 of them.

Terrific enjoyment then till teens.....when they can get out on their own.

Gotta have the first car at 16 but have no earthly idea as to how to take care of it.

Survive the "finding yourself and your nitch" years

Then you get ignored when they are making their own bucks.

And then finally, when they are over 40 and have raised a brood of their own, they realize just what a great bunch of parents they had.

If there's such a thing as reincarnation, I'll pass. One trip around is enough excitement for me.

There's a few give-a-ways that you have allready done a fine job. No face piercings , no tatoos , no stupid purple hair or streaks and no street walker make-up. Just a very pretty all natural looking gal. She appears to be a leader as apposed to a follower. That's half the battle at that or any age.

When out daughter turned 13, we wondered if we would ever get through it. I convinced my brother to let her drive his 1470 Case tractor doing fall tillage right behind the combines. She loved the feeling of power that she go from it - so she fell in love with the tractor instead of some boy. That's how we got her through "13".

She didn't mind spending 14 hours a day in that tractor. When brother & our son finished harvesting, she was about 2 hours behind them with the chisel low.
