Grandparents/Uncle then Mom's place.

Should have probably bought it a couple of years ago - This where I got my fondness for Olivers!

Hope someone can attend to the roof on that first one- all the old ones are falling down in our area, because roofs start leaking, and it doesn't take long for the whole thing to go. Once the interior structure starts rotting, there just isn't any practical way to fix it.

That's kinda what scared me/us away being an hour from there and busy with work and a teenage daughter.
The house had slate roof too and suffered quite a bit of interior damage before Mom and Dad had it reshingled.

Kruser,

ALL way cool! Old buildings... the only thing as good as old rust.

Do you mind if I keep a copy of the crib with the flag painted onto it? Really unique.

Beautiful old brick home! Thanks for sharing.

Lot of memories there.
Granndpa and my Uncle used to milk on the left side of the barn, store on the right and then grind feed to the next right. Calves were on the right and hay above.
Still remember putting up hay with an old Dodge truck and a hay fork and waiting for my Uncle to come in from milking whe we visited.

Thouht I was King of the Hill when Dad let me run the Oliver-Hart Parr/Oliver tractors and my Uncle let me run the Oliver 77 and a sickle bar mower at about 10 years old

Oh. to be young again!
