Question about Massey plows

I have an AO-14A-28 plow and the PO converted it to a 1 bottom. I have the components to put it back together and realized that the shares are shot. I found two bottoms that are the N series and one is a 14” Ferguson stamped which I know will work and the other is apparently a heavy duty N bottom that's a 16”.

Wieise Industries says that 4 hole shares will interchange across sizes. I was going to swap out the 16” for a 14” but the moldboard part number when Googled lists for a 16 or 18” plow. I know the shins interchange, but am I going to have problems plowing with moldboard as is?

Thanks,

Christos

I have no idea what you're talking about....You can put 16" shares on a 14" plow. That would be considered an 'overcut' share. You can put a 14"inch on a 16" plow.It will leave an 'uncut' strip between bottoms. You can put a 16"(replacement) moldboard on a 14"plow.It will work fine,it will just throw the dirt a fuzz farther-no issues there.Does this answer your Question?
