'Spilled 'cherry pie.

Was just typing the last post...The plate holding a piece of cherry pie/whipped cream just slid off my lap and on to the floor!!Couldn't catch it....Crap

I just scooped the pie off the floor and ate it anyway!Still tasted good....'dirt' and all

I remember the day about 30 years ago when I sat down with a full plate of spaghetti on the couch..watching something of interest...as I was sitting down, I tipped the plate towards me and it all slid into my lap.......as I quickly stood up, it all went on the floor...I can laugh about it now but OUCH!! LOL

In a former life.....???? I ended up at a house party one night along with my mates. The girls who lived in the house didn't seem to eat much( only excercise bikes and equipment in the house to keep them slim and fit!) But, I got hungry and thought I would cook something...all I could find in the cupboards was a few spuds with sprouts on! So I set about making myself a plate of chips/fries...just managed with the small amount of cooking oil etc and ended up with a nice plate of fries....set down on the sofa to eat them and one of the ( now well intoxicated) girls decided to sit on my knee and set her tiny azz right in my plate of chips!.... They still tasted OK even though they were a bit squashed!

What?
You guys have your priorities all messed up. How can you even think about typing if a piece of cherry pie w/whipped cream is nearby? Only if something else trumps pie....
Likewise- Sam is thinking about his stomach, and his chips, when a young lady sits in his lap?

I was taught when food hit the floor, pick it up. give it a kiss, and show it to God. Then it's good to go.

You were lucky to be able to eat it. Around here with three dogs in the house you only get about 1/2 of a second to see what you dropped with no chance of recovering it. Sometimes it doesn't even touch the floor.

Been here done that, but had to change the time to 15 seconds, and about ready to move to 20 seconds. Might have to get a plastic cover for the key board.
