This has gotten to be an all to common sight..............I think Texting While Driving has a lot to do with it.........sorry about the bugs on the windshield......

i agree with you, and its simple to stop, since common sense we have is not being passed on to the younger set, new rule, cell phones will not be in your hand while the vehicle is in motion, period .

Drive a big truck, fine is $2750.00 for talking on a cell phone without a handsfree device. Your company can be fined $10,000.00. Should be manditory for all..

A few years ago, a local fellow was on his way to work in his pickup and chatting with his wife on his cell phone.

The last thing he said was "Whoa.."

He hit an icy patch, slid off the road, the pickup rolled and he was killed. He wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

If he hadn't been talking on the cell phone, would he have been alert enough to see the icy patch and maintain control of the vehicle? We'll never know.

At least he didn't take anyone else with him.
