I am looking at buying a john deere power unit. It does run and has tranny on it. MODEL# LUC. SERIAL# C30793. Any information on this unit would be great. also if you know the rough price. He is asking $550 for complete unit. Thanks Roger.

What are you calling a TRANNY do you mean a transmission or the right angel drive fron a combine. Possibly did this unit come off some other John Deere unit?? If it is indeed a tramsion how many speeds and is there a reverse?

It has the clutch with an output shaft. Don"t know what it came off of though.

Is the output at a right angel to the crankshaft?? If so most likely from a combine. I am asumming its 2 cylinder. However I have a 4 cylinder power unit from a pull type combine . I do not recall the model number

I have seen a few of these and $350 or less unless it is some exceptional piece. The W-111 seems to bring big bucks.
