Happy with Speer Cushion

I have had Speer recover a few seats in the past and have always been happy with the results. The other day I ordered a snap on bottom and back seat cover for a 1600 Oliver I am fixing up for re-sale. By mistake they sent me a drawstring cover for the seat instead of the cover for the back. I called them and they realized their mistake, told me a back cover would be sent Monday and that it wasn't worth it to send the wrong one back. It's sure nice to deal with an American based company who sells a quality product that's concerned with customer satisfaction.

I never got to see their work because my seat was too far gone to recover.
When I called and talked to them on the phone a real person answered. +1
When I tried to describe my seat's condition, they told me they really couldn't
tell me if they could do it, let alone give me a price without seeing it. +2
No, really, that's +2. If they just give you a price, they're giving you worst case.
They were nice to deal with, unfortunately mine was so rusty I couldn't even
get it apart to send them the pieces.
As I recall, their minimum prices were not cheap, but sometimes you get
what you pay for.

I started using them probably in the 90's? At that time they did not offer the many repro seats they have now. I sent several of the utility style metal frames and springs (IH utility) to them and they recovered in OEM color and style. I cleaned up and blasted metal before I sent to them. At one time they were trying to get distributors for their product/service but I think they decided to keep it in house. Not the cheapest but definitely one of the best and the best part? NOT CHINA!
