Nice find . What make are those plows ? The Ford truck would make a fun restoration project . I'd like to find some things like that sitting in some woods . Does he wanna part with any of them ? Fill me in Lucky . God bless, Ken

Josh Ming on a previous post could use the coulter off of that plow. Course he also needs another 1 or 2.

Ken,
I didn't really look at the plows too closely but I will the next time over in that area.
Wow, if anybody could resurrect that rust bucket, he deserves a medal! LOL
Having said that, another friend of mine spent the better part of the last year taking a '53 1 ton P.U. and fitting onto a '95 F-150 4WD chassis with a Mustang H.O.engine. It's all painted and nearly ready to be registered. I will try to get some pics of it when it's totally finished.
The guy who owns the '54 lives in Louisiana and only gets up to his place in NY a few times a year. If you are serious, I will ask him if he wants to sell it; I can't imagine he will ever do anything with it but you never know.

Thanks for responding . I hope those plows are for a Ford . Did you notice if they were 2 bottom or 1 bottom plows ? Also if they were 3 point or drag plows . Its a shame to see that tree grow around them like it is . That will eat at the steel . They definitely need to be saved & restored . That truck , hopefully has a salvageable frame & body . I notice rot in the front , hopefully the rest can be saved . Whenever you get back there , take some pics of the plows , & that truck from various angles . Also , lift the hood & take pics of the engine . It should be the bigger flathead v8 . Please respond & give me your email address so that I can then reply back with my email address & phone number for later contacts . Where in N.Y. is this stuff located ? God bless , Ken

Ken,
I will do that.
BTW, its a '54 so it has the brand new OHV "Y-block" V-8 which should be a 239 CID unless someone stuck a 292 (or 312) in it some time during its life.
