If I type everything I need to do, the wife will have evidence to hold against me.

Anyway, these are the major ones for 2013.

1. Install quick attach plate on loader and plumb valve.
2. Shore up my driveway culvert with concrete bags.
3. Repair corner of camper, previous owner.
4. A little landscape on the front of the house for the wife.
5. Finish the last 10 foot section of wall with insulation in the shop.
6. Many, many little projects here and there.
7. I could keep going, but I have projects I need to go work on.

Number 6 is what keeps 1-5 from getting done.

Good luck with the new knee.I need to get my right
shoulder worked on this year but I keep putting it
off. It sounds like a can of rocks ratinlin around
when I move it maybe I can wait till next year

Now that you have out it off this long you had better schedule your knee until next fall or winter. It takes two months to get really back into good working order.

I don't know about 2 months--it took me 4 months to get back to skiing again---and now at 7 months it still is sore after a day of skiing.

Work on inside and paint outside of house.
Rebuild some fences.
Finish music picking house.
Build more chicken yards and chicken house.
Clean fence rows, hedges have taken over.
More work on horse barn, thats a constant thing.
Get garden planted.
Rework John Deere R manure spreader.
Rebuild engine in farm truck.
These are just a start. Its mind boggeling when you look at it like this.

the list is long

finish building out my new sprayer
tune up on JD2010
chemical application for winter wheat
brakes on grain truck
paint grain truck
paint gravity wagon
plant 20 acres Milo
new fan speed sheave on combine
build kids a sandbox
re seed the lawn
new gutters on the house
fix the old well and hydrant
new underground electrical service to the barn
keep splitting firewood
rebuild hyd valve on splitter

and i'd like to get it all done by 4th of July.

Get my haybine, 2 rakes and Tedder out of the far back field at the farm, get my mowers, trucks and trailers ready for lawn care work, cut split next years firewood, start seeds indoors for the garden, change litter in chicken coops, and get TAXES done! Amoung about 100 other things to do! But I don't want to overwhelm myself thinking about it here tonight! Lol

Just started my project last Friday - making wood Christmas gifts. Hope to be done by fall.

I won't even make a list. Its too depressing. I will concentrate on the short term goal of getting the front brakes back together on my 71 IH Loadstar. I started this job a month ago in the cold and have been held up waiting for parts. Every part expensive, some not available at any price.

My list is about as long as everybody else's, meaning never ending. The one thing that struck me after reading all of your lists is none of you is the kind of person who sits around waiting for someone else to do the job, because you can do it yourself. There are a few farmers around here who never get their clothes dirty. Nuff said!Jim

Fill woodshed (17 cords)
fix oil leaks on tractors
saw up the rest of the pile of logs by the mill
make some more maple syrup
tighten up barn eaves to keep starlings out
cut small oak logs to grow shiitake mushrooms
build a new dining table
new fronts on some kitchen cabinets
build new pigpen
find piglets for spring pickup
clean out tractor building
make a pallet so I can move the planer around
fix buzz saw so I can use it to cut up slabs
cut up slabs
make a new sawdust bin
dump the sawdust out of the dump wagon into new bin
wire in a plug for the sump pump

Or I could find a rock to crawl under and not come out for a while.
Zach

Plant soybeans
Plant garden
regrade and seed over new water line to house.
Finish decals on Farmasll H
Go to as maany tractor shows as I can.
Take a few summer afternoon naps
Go for a few rides in my old Army Jeep
Drive another tractor over the Mackinaw bridge
Make sure wifes lawn mower is ready to go
Combine wheat, bale straw
Have fun with grandkids

I've got a board that has to be replaced in the stock trailer and it is going to involve taking out lots of others.

Get new drive tires on the grain truck before grain season (have to find some good used 8.25x20's).

Get new tires mounted on grinder mixer.

Repair electric fence wire in hog pen.

Get feeder pigs (about a week old now).

Fix machine shed roof.

Get two spare chicken houses ready for new batch that comes next month.

Trim trees.

Dig pond in west pasture.

Get plans for building round barn next summer.

Remodel kitchen and bath.

Neighbor just added decking two hay wagons and rewelding her brush grapple on my list. I better get off my rear and get busy. This doesn't even cover usual breakdowns and animals that are already here. Ugh.

Have seven trees down to cut up, burn stumps and small stuff, firewood size the rest. Split eight trees worth of wood; haul & stack for next winter. Need to fix the center gearbox of the 12 foot
bush-Hog rotary. Need to weld, fix the 3-pt hitch of the 7-ft rotary. New knives on the rotary disc mower; turn the knives on the discbine; Purchase and install a canopy on the rake tractor; Plow six gardens, let them dry out properly then disc six gardens; square bale any round bales left and sell for mulch; Fix two barn doors; Mow, rake, bale, haul and store about 12,000 squares, mrbs couple hundred rounds; paint the big barn; take a day off for Thanksgiving.

In general order of priority:
Hang two more ceiling fans in two remaining bedrooms, fish wire for switches, connect to new junction box in attic, while in attic caulk/ insulate around bathroom exhaust fans where needed. That will take me to spring weather so: get well composted manure onto garden, till/ reseed where sewer lines were just installed 3 weeks ago. Early summer, jack hammer off 1/2 inch marble tile in mudroom/ laundry/ work bathroom, install isolation fabric, porcelain tile with epoxy grout (no stains, ever), paint it up install bathroom vanity, etc.. Fall: continue harvesting garden (the most enjoyable of all) dig out for pad behind mudroom gravel/ concrete. Late fall: go back into attic when cool and upgrade insulation where needed. Do a little bit of this stuff most days between the everyday maintenance stuff. Whatever doesn't get done today, I've noticed it's going to be there tomorrow.
