Arm 3590 touches panel assy 3512

What is wrong when the arm 3590 touches the Panel Assy when turning the steering wheel to the right. see pic

Well I could figure out that it is technically possible but is that how old Henry had meant it to be? Would not like to ruin my panel assembly

Can the arm be relocated on the spline?
I don't know much about Fords and Fergies but
I bet somebody on the YT 9N/2N/8N site can give you
an answer.

Thanks Brian, I got the advice to cut off a small corner on the panel assy.
The advice was from a parts supplier.
