Had all the help I needed

One day, my youngest-probably 3 YO-came out while I was counting off the revolutions of a tie rod end. She was throwing out random numbers and NOT helping in the least! Looks like plenty of help there!

Hey at least that helper can hand you tools etc. Last time I had a helper under a truck it had 4 legs and purred and it was not much help at all

I used to have helpers like that. They have all grown up and moved away, and the next generation of helpers lives too far away to. Makes me miss them.

Best help you can get. My grandson is about the same age and he is now helping with the tools by picking them up and taking them away. I get my excercise chasing him but would not have it any other way

I was helping a good friend of mine work on his F250 diesel and his son who was about 4 at the time was out there with us on the driveway. My buddy looks down and his son is standing there looking at us with black exhaust smut up both arms all the way to his shoulders says he been helping. What he was doing was using a stick to push a complete set of half inch drive sockets as far up the exhaust pipe as he could get them. I thought we were going to have to take the tail pipe off to get them all out. We still laugh about to this day. Kid is about ten now and will take just about anything apart he can get his hands on just to see what makes it work. I tell his dad all the time that his boy is a lot better at working on stuff than he is

When they are little, they are big helps. When they get big, they are little helps. Enjoy it while you can.

LOL. I can remember doing something similar to my Grandfather"s car. He couldn"t figure out why it sounded like a maraca until I explained I had filled the muffler with driveway stone.

Precious moments!
Next thing you know he'll be too interested in girls to "help" at all!

My 3 year old at the time, now 30 year old daughter was that kind of help. GREAT MEMORIES. She is still not bad at turnin wrenches.

Why hasn"t some marketing genius come up with a kid"s creeper? Maybe a KiddieKreeper? (just like Dad"s!) When the help isn"t around you could use it as a tool tray.
