The first picture shows the ECM, fuse block, master power relay and fuel pump relay. I added the master power relay and fused everything separately.

The second picture shows the existing coil , distributor and new primary wiring. The new setup will have no distributor and a coil pack with 4 outputs.

I can get by with no cam sensor by going to wasted spark. I need to get the advance curve out of my existing distributor before converting. I will program that curve into the computer.

David for several years I built and pulled the old 44 masseys. Used some electronic fire but is your work an experiment or something you expect to prove to be better. I am not trying to be smart just wondering if the end product is going to be worth all this effort. Is this any better than the off the shelf Petronics or other electronic conversions. Seems like you are an electrical expert. Will the results be better starting, longer life, more power or just what. Maybe all three. We bored stroked and stretched those engines ever way possible and really had some good results. For as I know several of the engines I built are still pulling antique. I quit about 10 years ago.

I program for a living, and have a boy that likes computers. This is fun for me and a way to get him interested in working with tractors.
