Loaded tires

Super MTA, I have a couple of steep hillsides on my farm that I have always mowed with the MTA. If I loaded the tires with rimguard, strictly for stability on hillsides, should I fill the tires only to the axle level for centre of gravity, or 90% as is the usual case. Thanks, Ellis

I would fully fill them, the tires tend to surge on the road when they are low because the solution carries over the inside of the rim.

You need a low center of gravity. Not a lot of water sloshing around. Put a belly bar in the middle and clip some suitcase weights on it. Better yet scoot your wheels out wide.

Back when I was PDI'd tractors I was taught to only fill to level with inside of valve stem when it was sitting at 12 o'clock but no full. Leave some room for air for cushioning.
