I know there's some truck lovers here. I saw this on CraigsList. I have no connection to it, and as far as I know, have never seen the truck except in these pictures. Brakes are the first thing that comes to my mind.
Barn truck

If I was still doing more farming, that's exactly what I'd be looking for. Always liked old Fords, and always wanted a hoist.

I'd also worry about the tires. There are probably quite a few dried up oil & grease seals as well.

Good looking truck! I drove a blue one like that for my dad when I was in high school. I went away to college and a hired driver rolled it one day while hauling corn from a combine into town. A cornstalk had torn off a rear brake line.

I like it. It probably needs new tires, belts, hoses, tune-up, oil change, maybe a carb clean-out, and maybe master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Fuel pump may be iffy. That's a real truck.

Probably a lot of life left in the ol' girl. But as mentioned, a lot of things will need a preventive replacement before I'd put her on the highway. My list, just for starters: Brake shoes, brake wheel cylinders (or at least kits), brake master cylinder, brake hoses, radiator hoses and fresh antifreeze, fuel filter, ALL fuel hoses, carb kit, tires, fire extinguisher for the cab, etc..
Remember that there are human lives at stake. Not so much of a bargain anymore.
