Signs of Spring

I think when this storm gets through the midwest that the end of winter is in sight. I saw about 6 fat robins in my yard yesterday but I knew the real sign was about 20 deeres gathered in front of Lowes.

Daffodils started blooming about 2 weeks ago at the farm in e. Tx.

Earliest I can remember them blooming was in January a couple of years ago.

That winter was so warm, the coastal in the hay field never died back completely.

It used to be real easy to predict the coming of spring in our neighborhood. The Dairy Queen would open back up for the warm season, and you knew that spring had sprung. They've modernized now, and they're open all year 'round. Maybe that's why we haven't had a winter this year. No January thaw, 'cause it never did freeze. It's a sea of mud around here. Wife's Easter flowers have been nosing through all "winter" long.
