flow devider

I am trying to put a flow divider in pressure line on a Wards tractor to run a char-lyn power steering. The flow divider has 4 ports on it, one port for inlet pressure line, one port for outlet of pressure line that goes on to the hydraulic control valve, a port for the supply line feeding the power steering and I can't figure out the fourth port. Can I just attach the return line from power steering motor to this port or do I need to get it tied into the hydraulic supply tank. I need a schematic of a flow divider to see the the path of oil flow. Where can I get a diagram of a flow divider?

That forth port is a pressure relief outlet, if you deadhead the char-lynn unit that will open the pressure relief valve, just tee it in to the out flow side of the char-lynn unit going back to the reservoir.

I do not know the brand of the flow divider, it looks identical to one on a 444 Massey Harris but I cannot follow the hyd lines behind the grill. I think adding a tee and routing the port on the flow divider and the return line from power steering together and then return them to the supply tank sounds good to me. I am going to try that and hope I don't lock up the hyd pump. Thanks David B
