This is an Ivel Tractor invented by Dan Albone in England. They first appeared in 1903

thats quite a design visability was good but the exhaust right by your head must not have been the best idea be neat to see it at a show

This was taken at the Old Time Farming Festival in Centerberg Ohio in 2008. Not my tractor, but glad to have it in my photo collection.

I have an "off the wall" sense of humor and can't help but be slightly amused at the large arrow on the 10-20 Case. Was that to help the driver "sight" the end of the field in order to go in a straight line? Was it just to point in the direction the tractor was supposed to go forward? Can't be a weather vane, there is no rooster on it. I know, I know, it's a hood ornament. LOL

From what I've heard about those, you couldn't see the front wheel so the arrow was to tell you which way it was pointed.

yes that is what it was for, also that tractor had a diff-loc kind ahead of it's time one was sold in the town where I live in 1915 the museum has a nice photo of it moving the family to their new farmstead

Ah, a subject near and dear to me!

Our 1917 Heider C 12-20 and a Heider M1 motor cultivator (exact build date unknown but probably between 1917-1921)

I also have a ton of pictures of various shows form last year, and I tend to focus on pre-warII tractors if anyone wants to take a look.

Case 9-19 or 10-18. With my grandpa driving I believe. He said it was his sister, but dementia had taken hold by the time we had found these pictures, so will never be sure.

Thanks to people on here for ID"ing the tractor for me.

I zoomed in. I only have one other picture of his sister to compare it to. The quality on that picture is less.
They both have the same nose and cheekbones, thats why I was a little confused.
