Fanning Mill Screens

I know this is not tractor related, but does anyone know where to find fanning mill screens, the type used on the old hand cranked mills with screens about 2" X 3"? Some of the originals used punched metal or wire mesh with holes longer one way than the other.

Thanks,
Alf

I know this may not help but does your have the screens that have holes that are say 1/4 inch wide by about an inch long?? We have an old Maytag fanning mill that has screens like that. One of those things we have the I need to find a new home for sooner or later.

About ten years ago i was able to order some screens from ARROWCORP INC at Alma Min..Phone # was 989 466 2356.
At the time they had a good variety to choose from.
If memory serves me im thinking they were shipped and made in Winnipeg because i had them shipped to someone in Canada and i picked them up there...Im close to the border
Might work for ya

I have parts of two sets of screens for the Clipper fanning mill.

Not sure but I do have some duplicates. I want to keep one full set but would part with any duplicates I have. What crop are you wanting to fan?

They are 45 miles away at the farm, but I will be there tomorrow.

Flaman of Saskatoon Alberta will cut any size you need.1 888 435 2626. Flaman.com The numbers on their screens are in 64th of an inch. I think that is standard for the grain cleaning industry.
