Tractor Pics for Sweetfeet!

Here are some pics from 3:45 AM this morning....it was a kind of rain and sleet last night about 1AM..thought I would get some pics in the dark when I woke up.....1948 John Deere A...1943 (I forget exactly) Farmall A, and a 1929 LaSalle

Most likely not..I would like to sell it actually.....23,900 miles on her..had it running several years ago....it was driveable at that point...

fantastic pictures! Why dont you and Sweetfeet get together and produce a calendar for 2014? I would happily pay to have one shipped to England. Phil

I'd give my right arm for that car. I'd most likely have to as I imagine they aren't a cheap thing! Never seen one that old that was a "Sally".

RickieBlue,

Awesome photos!! Did you only use your flash... or did you use a flashlight in addition? I want to get better night time photos.

Ohhhhh, don't sell the old car! Drive it instead, just like it is. It is beautiful - if you sell it, someone may paint it. :(

My husband sold our old Dodge grain truck. But I made him wait at least a year before selling it. Just wanted him to be certain that's what he wanted to do - 'cuz once they're gone... they're GONE!

Some pics I used both the flashlight and flash and some, only the flash. Alot of times in dim light situations I will take a time exposure ..something on the order of 2 or 3 seconds...works out real nice with a campfire....all of these were on a $100 Canon.........I used to use Kodak as I worked in the same city as Kodak was founded but after 2 failures, I gave up on Kodak......I might have to look up a few time exposures and post for you. If you try time exposures you have to be very..very still............or get the tripod out!

Am interested in the LaSalle. Please contact me if you are interested in selling. b*o*b at d*u*n*s*t*a*n dot org.

Where are you located?

RickyBlue,

Thanks for the tips. Very cool.

Need to get my camera book out - was going to be my project to learn more about this winter. Then took a second job, so have not gotten it done yet.

Here are some pics that I like...........with time exposures....people can't move or you get some interesting results!

I'd love to fix that old LaSalle up.
Don't worry SweetFeet, if that's the original paint, I wouldn't paint it. :)
