how you farin'. MoDOT shows lots of closed roads down there due to flooding. We got another 6 inches of very heavy wet snow with freezing rain tp boot. Lots of folks down in KC without power due to tree limbs bustin and taking out the wires. Got up to 34 and had somemmelting but temp is dropping again and expect everything to freeze again - plus another 1-3 inches by tomo morning.

I posted down below about the fun I did not have today/this morning. The boy called at around 5am that he was stuck about 5 miles from home. I fire up the old Chev 4X4 to go get him and I get with in 100 yards of him and the transfer case falls off the back of the transmission. All but 2 bolts missing out of it and where those 2 bolts where the adapter for the transfer case to transmission is not broke so have to try to find a part for a 1980 Chev 4X4

Ah but this is Chev you should not have to flip it over to read the instructions LOL Can not complain all that much about this old Chev. I have had it 8 years and worked it hard

I just turned the puter, to holler at you. and the first thing I see is this post! THAT IS NASTY LUCK!I guess we know what will be sitting in the shop now, instead of the sons old chevy. That is when you get some space made! I was just talking to my son, at Raben Tire in Pop Bluffs, about the winter blizzard the TV was talking about, and Buck said that last night they had thunder, lightning, and heavy rain, but no snow! I figgured that Raben, would be selling snow tires like crazy today, but he said no. He said that studs are about a thing of the past!( go figgure) I reckon roads are more important than lives! any way I was hoping that you had finally got some needed rain.

Ya it started here with rain then around 7 or 8pm turned to snow but a lot of it melted. This morning when I went out to help the boy the snow we deep enough that once I got in the car he was driving the bottom of the car was plowing the snow. Had a few places where I had to back off and hit it 3-5 times to get up a small hill etc. Them Toyota Corolla's sit a tad bit low

Well yes and if my mom wakes up I figure all that much better but she is pushing on 90 real hard as in one more year almost as in she hit 89 this month already
