The snow just hit, I'm headed out to put a fresh bat in the skid loader and check my calving cows. Wife is packing her things to go stay at the hospital tonight, she is an RN and is scheduled to work Tuesday/Wednesday. We are now forecasted for 9-15" on top of 9" inches with 30 mph winds the next two days. I'm going to bed down this evening with a pot full of chili, wood in the basement, plenty of coffee and a bottle of whiskey....stay safe boys.

What town you located by Eric? Supposed to have snow coming in here too, but I think a little less then that. The wind is what conserns me. Wife goes in at 10:00 tonight and gets off a 6 in the morning. Will probably take her and hopefully be there to get her in the morning.

Hey Erik, You might better leave that bottle of whiskey alone. If you get in it too deep you may forget where the cows are!

Good luck Erik. Wife's brother and 2 sisters are hunkered down in Enid, OK where blizzard conditions will hit this evening. Rain turned to snow already.

LOL, I don't hit that stuff too hard. This bottle has been residing in the cabinet for 6 months or better and is still 3/4 full. Just enough anitfreeze to keep the blood flowing. We've had 3 calves the last 2 days so I may have a busy night. We are near Overbrook, snowed hard for about 30 minutes and has stopped for the time being. I just finished putting a battery in my skid loader, 1845C Case, that was more of a job than it looked like. Wife will definatley be glad she doesn't have to sleep with me tonight, I had a big bowl for lunch

Did a quick trip into town for the boy around 4:15 and it was sort of raining and snowing at the same time. Weather guessers here calling for 1-5 inches before it is all said and done tomorrow. Boy gets the fun of driving home in it tonight when he gets off at 3:30am

Just watched the weather and we're on the edge of 8"-10" to 10"-12". Gonna be a looooong day tomorrow shut in with the wife!!! J/K, of course!

Hey Old, I can send you some snow. We're supposed to get in the 10-16" range as well, so Iam on duty tonight, going to sleep I hope in an extra rack here.

Snow is a good thing right? Moisture! moisture! moisture! It has been flooding all day here and with this rain it adds up to about a foot of rain in the past two weeks. There is water EVERYWHERE but I am not complaning!I just saw on the local news where four counties around us have closed schools tomorrow because dirt roads are so bad.

You said it brother, bring it on. I would love to see another foot! We had 9 inches last week and we need all the moisture we can get!
