I would have posted a picture of me and the better half but she threatened to shoot me if I did. LOL.

She and I have been married for 15 years this fall. I was married to my first wife for 29 years before she passed on. So I guess I have been married for 44 years.

I will be 63 this year so I have been married far longer than not in my life. I did start early at 16.

So did any of the rest of you get married at a young age???

I wasn't that young but only 25.5 years old and will be 31 years this falland two kids later.I will be 56 next month.

I was 18 when I got married in 76.

Guess that makes me married for 37 years at the age of 55.

Had 4 girls when I was 27 years old and have 7 grandkids with the 8th on the way.

Yep I was young but we made it work.

Gary

I was 19, and the wifey was 17 when we were married. We dated 3 years prior to that. Will be 47 years of marriage at the end of Aug.

lyle that still does not tell us how long you have been married. LOL I am willing to bet that the sin part is longer for all of us!!!

Same wife for 43 years (in April). Never could afford a divorce, and sure didn't want to train in a new one. (Just kidding, Dear!) But she still doesn't understand my need for more old tractors.

28 years this June. I was 25 and Kelly, 20. Our kids will be 19, 21, and 24 with their spring birthdays. None married yet...and no grandchildren either.

We love each other.

We will be married 5 years next month. I was 20 and she was 24. I was working nights at the hospital and she was an RN, I told her my job was to support my farming hobby, but I was there to find a pretty nurse.

39 years. We've known each other for 48 years. We had no interest in each other for the first four years or so. I'm from a small scandanavian protestant family, she from an extra large German Catholic family. Then I asked her out to the senior prom out of desperation and the rest is history. Jim

Was married for thirty years until she got stupid on me and got in the drug culture and ran off with a drug addict. Been divorced for thirteen years. Looking for a new one who loves cats as much as I do. Not many around I guess.

We have been married 32 years. We were 19, six weeks shy of 20 when we were married. We have three kids, 26, 24,and 20, and 1 grandchild who turns four next month. Our birthdays are one day apart, she is the older one. We were born in the same hospital and our parents knew each other, but we didn't meet until we were 15, and started going out when we were 18. I made it clear right off the bat that I was a farmer and if she didn't like it she should run. She hasn't yet, so I guess she still like me.

Guys, 23 yrs and 3 months. Will be 24 mext Nov 18. And we dated 2 yrs So we have been together a little over 25 yrs, to date!
Later,
John A.

46 years, and it seems like we were married last Tuesday, and we know what a bad day that was!!! (just kidding. ) My wife taught behavior disorder (BD) kids for 30 years, besides being a full time farm wife, so she has to be a gem. Harold

A month before our 9th anniversary, wife informed me she was no longer in love with me and was in love with someone else. I tried to make amends and patch things up. Last straw was on our 11th anniversary. I asked her for a date. She infored me she was going dancing with yet another guy. She then gave me a long lecture about planning for my future if and when our marriage ended. After about an hour of listening to her go on about making plans and such, she asked if I had anything to say. I looked her in the eye and said, "happy anniversary." The next day I started moving out.

I envy all of you who found and married the right one. I know a successful marriage takes a lot of hard work and communication. But it also takes 2 willing to put in the hard work.

I got married at the young age of 39. As of Sept 30 of 2012 we've been married 5 years. Given that we met on September 16th and got married 14 days later on Sept 30, I think we're doing pretty good.

We graduated high school June 1973, married a month later, after spending much of the previous 4 years together.
Now, am I seeing things, or did Eldon get a picture with Bruce's wife? Or are they sisters?

I was 22, she turned 19 a few days after the wedding.
37 years this Thursday. We didn"t have children for the first 18years, and now have two lovely daughters, 18 and nearly 20yrs old.
Blessings!

it will be 40 years this july. i had to wait until she graduated from college (i graduated 2 years ahead of her). i got a good one.

I was married to my first wife for 18 weeks before she and my first son were killed in a car crash involving a drunk driver, but we had known each other since we were in 1st grade. Ive been married to my second wife 20 years this May.

We got married in June of 1951 so that makes 61 1/2 years of a good marriage. We would both do it again. We have 3 good children, 10 grand kids and 1 great grand son. God is Good

We'll celebrate 41 the 24th of May. We'd both been in bad marrages before and both had kids. Best thing I've ever done. She has been my best friend all these years. She don't say toooo much about buying another tractor most of the time LOL. Keith

Over 40 years now. I was 21 she was 19. Started dating her when she was 14 I think. Yup, nothin' like marrying a teenager.

I was 23 when wife and I got married, and we were 10 years last June, sneaking up on 11 years of marriage soon.

We get to celebrate our 50th this coming June. I was 21 and she was 20 when We were hitched. It don't seem that long ago, although a lot of things were different back then.

35 years this past January. Was 34 and she was 27. Married less than 6 months after meeting.

We will soon be married 60 years we went to school together for 4 years and graduated from different schools about 5 miles apart. I guess it started when I invited her to my senior prom in 1951.

I was also in the Army stationed at Ft Bragg with the 82nd. I was working at a military base when I was drafted. I was rehired when my hitch was up. Not many places you could work 43 years. My brother and I both turn down deferments to stay on the farm. He had joined the Air Force. Hal
PS: Picture was taken in 1956.

Married the first time for 2 years to a nut case that spent more time in the mental hospital than at home, was glad when she wanted out. Will be 18 years in June to the right one.

Married at 22 30 years ago. I have to stay married I don't have the patience to train another one :). Or be trained depending on who you talk to.

The standing joke on that is I trained several labs as retrievers. We where getting ready to go to town one day and I, without thinking, told my wife to "kennel up". Needless to say that didn't go over well. To help the situation I got tickled and couldn't stop laughing.

I'm sure glad she has a sense of humor.

I got married to my first wife in 1991. In 97 we separated, then got back together, divorced for good in 2008. My girlfriend and I have been dating for 3 years. Maybe we will tie the knot someday. I will say, the second time around is much better than the first!

Will be 55 years in September. How did we make it work, you ask? We made an agreement years ago that if it got so bad somebody had to leave, the person leaving had to take the kids with them.

Never happened.

Stan

I have been married 56 years but it took 3 times to get there. Now I am divorced again(got tired of supporting her 46 YO son) and am back with my childhood sweetie for 3 years. She is a widow and is still a great gal. Things would have been different had I started out with her??????

47 years, last October.

The pic is too formal for here, but it was the only one I could find offhand.

my wife raised 2 sons and a husband, that was 45 years ago and still enjoying the count. actually, as age increases, physical health declines but my contentment level goes up.

Will be 52 years in Aug. My how time flies , Married a wonderful girl when I was 21 She liked a few days being 18 , back in 61 . I guess we were lucky as we always had what we needed from day 1 . The good Lord provided & she was a great Stewardess.

My wife and I will celebrate 15 years in July. Each year has been better than the previous.

I talked to a guy at his 50th Anniversary party, and he jokingly said, "Well, I guess I'll try one more year." So now each year, the wife and I joke about "one more year".

We'll be married 37 yrs. this September. Our 25th was 9-11-01... yea, THAT 9-11. Not much celebration that day. Wife and I were both 20, I turned 21 that October. Looking back at the pictures makes me realize we were so young, but had a good handle on life, both us us grew up in rural areas and me on a small farm. We both worked at the same company for years (but didn't meet there) and about 6 yrs. ago she got a job in the same department as me, so she is just 2 desks away now. Have been riding to work together for almost the whole 36 + years.

Will be married 2 years this June. Both of us had been divorced before after marrying the wrong people. So far so good shes spoiled me with her cookin and companionship. I wonder why I didnt marry her sooner.

It will be 35 years this May. She was 19 and I was 27. We have 2 daughters , One is married and the other is engaged. I Grandson 3 yrs old.

My wife was 19 and I was 20 when we got married over 33 years ago.
We recently "won" the anniversary dance at a wedding reception recently. That's kind of a dubious honor.
My in-laws will celebrate their 69th anniversary in April. My parents would have been married 70+ years if Dad was still alive.

I am 62 , been married to same person for 42 yrs and we started dating steady 3 yrs before that. She was 15 and I was 18 when we met and married 3 yrs later. So 45 yrs with same girl and we were both virgins on that first time. Have two grown kids and 4 grandkids. Somewhere we both learned that the grass wasn't greener on the other side , it was just "different grass" still needed mowed and cared for....nothing less than your first "lawn" was asking for.

It will be 16 years in June. I was 30 and she was well, er um. She caught me young. I had never been married and she was a widow with 2 grade schoolers.

Been married 21 1/2 years, got married at age 19/17. First of 3 boys born 4 days after i turned 20. About to turn 41 with 2 boys in college and youngest junior in high school.

Will be 14 years in September to a truly wonderful person.First go round lasted 2 years. She wasn't a nice person.

Ruth and i married in September, 1950! Still married! Adds up to 63 years!
Had some tough times, and made it thru it all.
I did auto body and paint mostly, and she retired on our wedding day! She was a good cook, and good looking-stole my heart on our first date! Met on a "blind date"!
We looked like Mutt and Jeff, the comic characters. Me at 6'2, and her at 4'11! AHHH, for the good old days, eh? Rusty Jones
