here was my day, i do realize an ax could be used to split firewood but having a bunch of machinery is so much more fun! i didnt finish that log pile in the background is about 35 feet in diameter and 5 feet tall, and i still have 2 truckloads that arnt even there yet, but the price was right and if its heats the house its good for me, the duke dog got into the act too, almost imeadatly he developed doggy basketball, apparently the rules are fo rhim to stand at a agle to the john deere loader tractor, and pop his ball out of his mouth under pressure, when it makes it into the loader bucket he then barks like an idiot and can be heard over the woodsplitters engine until a human gets the ball, then he walks around for a few and repeats the process, kind of hard to get work done but this is next years wood and i got time about an hour after this was taken today it turned cold and started to snow
