Somebody asked for this picture a few weeks ago.
From Farm Journal magazine Jan. 1964.
Sorry about quality. Cell phone pic as scanner is not working.
The John Deere appears to be gold colored.
You Case guys will note the 830 is not a rowcrop nor a Wheatland but a standard.
More details in a bit.

After considerable checking, they (Farm Journal) found that 7 of 8 tractors were at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson so the picture was taken at a nearby shopping center parking lot. The eighth tractor had to be trucked in for the photo.
Each company representive was asked if they could not only furnish a tractor for the photo but a driver as well. All said they could. Officials at the fair agreed to let the tractors leave the exhibits for most of the day.
The Kansas Highway Patrol convoyed the tractors to the picture taking site. Service men from Firestone, Goodyear and Goodrich went to work cleaning muddy tires while the drivers put on new white coveralls.
A hydraulic ladder was provided by a tree service company to get the arial shot.

The Line-Up of tractors.
Oliver 1600
IH 706
AC D-17
MM 602
JICase 830
Ford 6000
JD 3020
MF Super 90

Have you got the toys to set up a display like that today Loren? I could come up with the brands, but not all the particular models.

They should have swapped places between the Oliver and the Ford 6000- then, the Ford wouldn't have been in everybody's way when the POS SOS broke.

Can any of you JD folks shed any light on the gold colored Deere?
The Ollie don't look very green either.
Sorry for the double picture.
