Ford 6.0 class action

I googled it. Found references to suits in CA LA and MS. i know that I will not buy another Ford.

Only the 2006-7 for a law suit L.O.L. Those diesels have been a pile of junk from the first 6.0 in 03 to the end of the 6.4.
I was thinking of running a newer ford diesel but gonna keep the 7.3 till it dies now from the horror stories the ford shop mechanics have told me, plus the comments from local truck owners I talked to one guy has over $40.000 in ford shop time for his fleet to keep them half decently running for the last fertilizer season! .
Regards Robert

Got letter. No issue. Got rid of it real soon. Like 20Kmiles. Lost money but no repairs. Dave Was only 5 year old.

After posting yesterday, got a letter today. Basically says that if you had injecto, EGR oil cooler or turbocharger problems in first five years under warranty you can be part of class-action suit. If I read correctly, they will reimburse half of warranty deductibles up to $200 maximum. If you paid out of pocket with less than 135k and within 6 years you can get reimbursed for part of repairs. Website on letter is w w w. dieselsettlement.com or call 800-600-8555.
Head gaskets and head studs aren't listed as being part of the settlement! Don't ask me why....

got my letter today. covers 03-07 ford 6.0s and covers injectors, egr valve, egr cooler, oil coooler, and turbos. Covers repair costs in the first 5 years or 100000 miles or if it happened outside of the 5year 100000 but before the sixth year and 135000 you geta set amount already set. Your only entitled to the settlment if the court approves the settlment and the hearing is in may sometime. My question is that the dealership did all of my work and I no longer have the truck but how am I gonna prove repairs if the dealership convienently does not have my records still.

Sam, Nick, what states are you in? As I posted earlier I found only a few state suits.

I'm in Tx,no letter. If they settled with everybody for what the CA suite asks for,I figure most would be satisfied.
