I was reading the posts below about the best and worst tractors.Thought rrlund might enjoy these pictures from 1941 advertisement I have.

I find it quite amusing at the appearance of some tractors during the "transition" period. With the hood and engine enclosure it looks like a later styled unit. The front wheels look like they came off some kind of planter, and those skinny rears don't look stout enough to stand the power. Makes for interesting reading though, thanks for the post.
 
1941 ad? shows the steel wheels used during war production when rubber was rationed- maybe this was 1942? RN.
