I'm considering some 15.5 x 38 ag-pro 10 ply tires for my JD620 any pros or cons on this brand.

I don't know anything about Ag Pro's so I can't help you there, but sometimes the cheaper off breeds last just as well as a name brand. I just picked up a pair of new Sampson 13.6 X 38's for my Oliver 88. The Oliver sits in the shed when not in use and doesn't get much use anyway so I'm expecting the tires to outlast me. Jim
 
So men what did they quote you for the Sampson and Ag-Pro tires?? Kinda should be in the market for some 13.6 x 38's gobble
 
Several guys around me put them on several years ago. They seem to be of real low grade rubber. They weather crack terrible even when inside. One of the older pairs cracked clear through the side wall. That tractor sets inside all of the time so sun light did not cause the problem.

I would not use them on anything I was planning to keep very long.
 
$410 ea for the 13.6 x 38's. The tread bars have a crook in them like a Good Year. I got a set of 12.4 x 28 Sampsons for $270 ea. I've always been a name brand type of a guy but with so many name brands being foreign made today I thought I'd give these a try. Jim
 
Don't know if they last but gensco aircraft tires now sells tractor tires, supposedly super stout. You have to call them, nothing on their website about rears...if it pans out for you, let us know.

Gensco has sold front tires for tractors for YEARS! I wouldn't have anything else. If you DO go with the, get the rim/tire assembly - those tires are TOUGH, and your tire guy will hate you if you want him to put them on! Haven't had a flat tire since I got them several years ago. They also hold up great as loader tires.
 
Yes, buy the complete tire rim assembly. Got 2 sets for the fronts myself...but now they sell rears, too. No experience with them, yet.....
