If you are talking about the trany shifter, there is a pin going thru the shifting tower. Knock is out and lift the shifter out.

You mean the two-piece brass ring in the hand clutch? Don"t think it comes out unless you split the tractor. Did mine when I had the engine out....just pulled next two castings forward. You can also split at the rear and use long guide bolts in the rear axle to maintain alignment. I&T AC 11.
