3pt forklift

Anyone have one ? Good bad Saw a Woods brand on craigs list for $1000. didn"t know if they any good or not ? I have a Case CK530 what is the lift rating of the 3 pt ?

My dad made one out of an old electric forklift. It was a small forklift to begin with so its not the biggest, but works ok. Biggest problems he has are getting the 3 point set at the right level for it to work well (too high you cant pick up a pallet and to low you tear up the barn yard), and it is not as easy as a real forklift to use.
He uses it with a JD 3010, when he uses it. Right now he dosen't, as he has a real forklift, but he keeps it for back up.
Can't help you with pricing or tractor capacity.

I built one out of a yale EST three wheeler electric fork lift. I left the wheeles on the mast, so, that is where I get the hight when down to the ground. I made three point hitch for it. I have used it on an 800 and 930 case tractors with no problems. Brother in-law used it on 1486 to set inline feed buncks with no problems ( I was driving the tractor, worked very good.)

Many have commented it isn't the handest thing to have, but works if you don't have an actual forklift or forks on a loader. Tough to operate backwards. Seen several offered around this area, Central Illinois. All but one were built from scraped forklifts. Priced somewhere around $500. Some asking less at $400, another wanting more at $750.

I have one. Use it on the back of the loader tractor to haul round bales up the hill to the feeder. With 1500 lbs on the back and a loader on the front you have plenty of weight to go where you need to go....
