OT: Blue tooth hearing aids?

I have significant hearing loss and have used in-the-ear-canal aids for several years which help, sort of.
I am now considering Blue Tooth enhancement for telephone use and TV watching.
Any one here have a good experience with BT hearing aid assist? Thanks
Leo

I suffer from hearing loss to the tune of roughly 80%. It's from running excessively loud tractors without hearing protection, therefore, as with the OP, hearing aids may be ALL about tractors in many regards.

I have hearing lose in both ears but mostly in my left ear from sitting next to a open truck window for so long. I have a constant ringing or cricket sound in both of my ears. While I can hear; any outside sound such as someone talking in a room with the TV makes it to where I can not understand either. I can hear but can no longer separate different sounds.
I do not wear normal hearing aids but should.

I have a very hard time hearing on a phone so I got a Blue Parrot B250 for my phone. It works OK for me but since it only is on one ear I still need to turn it loud to overcome the sounds from the other ear. Have a hard time ballancing loud enough to hear and screaming in my ear.

I also have a set of TV ears for the TV. This thing covers both ears to where I only hear the TV. It has helped me a lot and I really like them. And now my wife and I can watch TV in the same house without wanting to kill each other.

Sure does have a tractor connection. Also genetic connection!
I used to love hearing the old SC Case bellow and the chains jingle. The muffler was removed because of snow build-up under the shed door! Thirty years later I would relish the heat and noise of the John Deere V8s on full load durability tests in their "cells". Ah the heat and the racket!

Never listened to Rock Music at concerts, tho.

Yah, I am not sure I can afford it. Silence often is very nice! Especially around grandchildren!

I've got em and love em. Really makes a difference in what I can hear. I can again listen for engine knocks on my tractors.

Ive got one for my hearing aids (also a coworker has a different brand) both of us use them to play the radio thru the hearing aids since the use of in-the-ear headphones is out. I do not have the item that you can use with the tv but I do have it with the phone. I still get funny looks from people when I am walking around and talking to myself....
When using the tractors I can listen to the radio and have the ear muff hearing protection on
Mine cost me about 500 extra 4 years ago (the one that adds the tv was around 750 at that time)

I have Resound hearing aids that came with blue tooth for the Tv and the cell phone. I use the cell phone until I lost one of my hearing aids. It worked great but people in the store do look kind of weird at you for talking to no one. I would reccomend getting them you will not be sorry.
