OK OK I can't take it any more.....I have been looking at the photos of the homesteads and so on and have to ask for help. I have a decent digital camera and a decent cell phone. What I need is a step by step "how to" guide to getting a photo from phone and /or camera to website. If you can help me like this or direct me to a good website to help me along I would certainly appreciate it.

Save the pictures to your computer. When starting or replying to a thread scroll down and it will hade an "upload" spot for photos. Click on that and seclect the picture from your puter, upload and hit continue. It's under advanced posting tools.

May I make a suggestion. (Not knowing your age)ask
a friend or a younger person who has grown up with computer exsperienc. Have them both show you how ON YOUR computer. Then you do it while they
watch. Then send some pictures back and forth until you have mastered the job. To explain how
is simply impossible for a person to understand.
Simply ask for help from a friend to SHOW you how it is done. ggp

From your iPhone. Send it to your own email.
Open your email, open that photo, "save as" name it and save it in a "pictures" folder.
Now open the forum discussion, find the topic you want and het the "reply" key lower right.
Write your message in the boax, then go down to upload photo. click there then "browse". Select that picture and click "open" Then "upload" then "continue" Then "review" and Voile, there it is . Then"Post"

Get a memory card for your camera. Then download your pics to your computer. Be sure to identify each picture. Here's a link to Sweetfeet's step by step procedure for posting one or several pictures. Hal
PS: Check to see if a cable came with your phone so you can download pictures.

Tech 7,

Getting pics from your camera to your computer is pretty simple.

1. Plug your camera transfer cable into camera
2. Plug the other end of your cord into a USB port on your computer (most have one or two on the front of the computer if it is a newer computer).
3. Turn your camera on...and wait a couple seconds and your computer should open your camera's software/folders with an autoplay feature.
4. Click on "Open Folder to View Files" (or double click if one does not open it).
5. There are usually multiple folders in your camera...just keep clicking on the folders until you find the one with the photos contained in it.
6. Once you find your photos that you wish to transfer: click on the first one, then hold down your SHIFT button and use your DOWN ARROW to select all the photos -this will highlight all of those photos.
7. Next, click AND hold down your left mouse button on any one of the highlighted photos... and KEEP HOLDING IT DOWN
8.While still holding down your mouse button - you can now "DRAG & DROP" those photos into any folder you want....so drag them over to your "Pictures" folder and hold it over the "Pictures" folder icon (or whatever sub-folder within pictures that you want to place them into)...NOW LET GO of the mouse button and they will transter to that folder. Note that if it is just a few pics it will happen almost instantly - but if there are many, it can take a few minutes

ALSO be sure you are hovering over the correct folder... because once you let go over a folder, they will transfer there - so if it was "Documents" they would go there (in which case, just go to documents... select them all the same way and then drag them all to the correct folder).

(Note: at step 6, you can also Right-Click and select "Rename"... and rename all the select photos at one time if you wish. I always do this and assign a general name and date... then the computer automatically numbers them in sequence. FOR EXAMPLE: junkyard pics 8.6.2013 (1).

After I move them - I always go to to My Pictures folders to be certain they did get transferred correctly....ONLY THEN do I delete those files from my camera.

Once you have transferred your photos into your computer, then you can follow the steps in the links the guys posted to upload your photos to YT (provided that you are a registered user of YT...if not registered, then you are not permitted to post pics. You can register by clicking on "Modern View" then click on "Register" in the upper/right corner of the red box at the top/right of your computer screen.)

Hope this helps. I do not know anything about phones as I do not have one that takes photos.
