OT aluminum trailer grime

Hi, I have a friend that just bought a 1996 aluminum livestock trailer. It is in good shape but needs to be cleaned up to remove the dullness. He is afraid to take it to places that do cattle pots to clean because it turns the trailer white. Has anybody heard of a good solution to spray on and scrub that DOES NOT turn things white, but still does a nice job cleaning and shining the aluminum? THANKS

When I was milking cows and had need for a livestock trailer, I used the milk tank wash to keep it clean and shining.

If it is somewhat corroded from road salt and such, it will need an acid wash and sanding with very fine sandpaper, then a little buffing. You could skip the acid wash, but you will have to sand more.

Look for a product called Con-Coil. It is used to clean AC coils in the HVAC industry. Super easy (and UNBELIEVABLE results) to use. Just put some in a five gallon sprayer, spray it on, then wait about a minute and hose it off with a garden hose. If I remember correctly, it is about $20 a gallon, which will last a long time.

My all aluminum boat was really cruddy from the algae in the lake. Tried several things and happened to grab a spray bottle of clean shower. It worked great.
