jr's post brought back memories of a summer a few years back. i was weed eating around the pond in shorts and flip flops and being summer the water level had receded some. with the old weed eater cranked up to high i was going at it,sweeping back and forth and extending as far as i could toward the edge when; near instantly my feet were higher than my head, flip flops shooting off in two directions and the weed eater sailing out into the lake. i and the weed eater hit the water at the same time with me screaming and the weed eater silent. regaining composure i tossed shoes and weed eater to the bank and then tried to climb out. crawling and slipping i soon was losing ground, finally digging fingernails and toenails into the soft mud i emerged looking like a giant slippery eel. back on shore i decided to finish the weed eating as i was, i removed the plug, literally poured out of the cylinder, replaced plug, pumped bulb twice and it started on second or third pull. also reminds me of the new zero turn mower and lake and, well that's enough from this doofus.
